Bleed & Specifications
Bleeds allow you to run artwork beyond the edge of the sheet before trimming. In other words, the bleed is the area to be trimmed off. Artwork and background colors can extend into the bleed area however after trimming the bleed ensure that no Non-printed edges occur in the final trimmed document.
Why is adding a Bleed & Safe Zone area necessary?
Small mechanical variations can end up with hairline white edges and the final print copy looks with improper image distribution hence while designing we need to configure it with the extended image with bleeds. Safe zone describes an area within the cut/trim line where you can be sure Critical elements text, logos, graphics will not be trimmed.
