The importance of bleeds
These factors denote the border metrics of your artwork specifying where it has to be cut leaving behind the final size of your product. Trim lines are represented by vertical & horizontal hairlines marked on each corner of the page which can be implemented through designing software such as Adobe InDesign. Note: Be advised with a trim of 3 mm on all edges.
Got bitmap images
If you have a bitmap, JPEG, PNG or GIF image we highly recommend providing us with a resolution of 300dpi or more for smoother and sharper looks. Note: Low-resolution images will lead to blocky and “pixilated
Got CMYK Artwork
There have been several instances where artwork, as seen on screen, would vary from that of the prints; the primary reason is the inappropriate RGB format. We highly recommend you to preview your artwork in CMYK for appropriate high-quality outputs.
Got large areas of Black in your artwork
If your design has large areas of solid black work kindly use Rich Black to ensure the best result. Rich Black is defined as: 50 / 50 / 50 / 100. 100% black tends to wash out in comparison to other CMYK elements in the design.
To ensure the integrity of your design, we encourage artwork to be supplied to Australia Print in accordance with the specifications documented here.
Any artwork submitted in an incomplete state will require a re-quotation and the print prices indicated for the product will not apply.
